Privacy policy
This policy explains how Walili handles personal data on waliliapp.com and when you contact us or have a discovery call with us. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
- Controller
- Walili, Zakharia Bouzniqa (sole proprietor)
- Address
- Leuengasse 16, 4057 Basel, Switzerland
What we collect and why
- Website visits: our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, so the website can be delivered and kept secure. We use no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is stored only in your browser.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
- Discovery calls: your name, email address and what you tell us about your work, so we can schedule and hold the call and follow up.
- Sprint reservations: your name, email address, billing details and a record of the payment, so we can manage your reservation and keep our accounts. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the performance of a contract (or steps before one), our legal obligations (accounting) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the website.
Who receives your data
We do not sell personal data. We use these service providers:
- Netlify (USA)
- Website hosting
- Formspree (USA)
- Contact form
- Stripe (Ireland and USA)
- Payments
- Google (Ireland and USA)
- Email, calendar and video calls
Transfers to the USA are covered by the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Accounting records are kept for 10 years, as Swiss law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, object to its processing, or ask for a copy in a common format. Write to zakharia.bouzniqa@waliliapp.com.
